Designed with no single point of failure, the MODULYS XS offers a redundant power supply and excellent availability for mission-critical applications. The MODULYS XS family is the optimal choice for unscheduled site upgrades or gradual power evolution due to its flexible modularity, which allows for seamless and risk-free power scaling up to 20kVA. By adding hot-swappable plug-in power modules in increments of either 2.5kVA or 5kVA, the installed power can be expanded to 20kVA. MODULYS XS is a fully modular system with pluggable and hot-swappable power modules and an installation-specific self-setting system. All modules can be interchanged without having to switch to an external manual bypass. Hot-swappable battery modules are designed for installation in the same UPS enclosure as power modules. Future module technology can be implemented since the "Forever Young" concept avoids end-of-life criticality and guarantees module compatibility for 20+ years. The completely redundant design provides N+1 and N+X redundancy, and the completely independent power modules eliminate any single point of failure. Fast and secure concurrent maintenance based on hot-swap modules improves serviceability.
