The Glassworks project is a £180m scheme set to regenerate and transform Barnsley town centre. H E Barnes has worked in conjunction with others to undertake a full Met Centre refurbishment. Set in 2 phases, with the first being completed in 2019, works are now underway for phase 2. The scheme (along with the other projects in the Better Barnsley scheme and projects through the city) will bring the town centre investment to £100m.
Works for this project were delayed by COVID-19, however, everything is now back into motion and works have resumed – which is where Secure Power has helped.
