MODULYS RM GP is a three-phase Green Power 2.0 modular UPS series from Socomec that is ideal for protecting critical applications such as computer rooms, data centres, banks, healthcare institutions, telecommunications, and more. It is designed for simple, risk-free integration in standard 19" rack cabinets and is fully compatible with any standard 19" rack cabinet. MODULYS RM GP is a high-power density UPS with flexible, simplified cabling that is simple to maintain, integrate, and customise. There is no possibility of cost or budget overruns due to the time-saving integration procedure, which optimises the overall cost. The solution is compact, which saves space; logistics are simplified; and integration is straightforward, which eliminates the need for a costly installation and rework. The completely redundant design provides an N+1 level of redundancy and has no single point of failure. The parallel control is decentralised, and the power modules are completely autonomous. Rapid and secure maintenance is facilitated by hot-swappable components, which improve serviceability (power modules, bypasses, electronic boards, batteries). MODULYS RM GP is prepared for concurrent maintenance, and batteries can be swapped on the fly without shutting down the associated equipment. Since the "Forever Young" concept gets rid of end-of-life criticality and makes sure that modules are compatible for 20 years or more, new technology can be added to modules.
