The Sentinel Dual (SDH) is a high-density variant of the Sentinel Pro double-conversion online UPS. Critical loads such as servers, storage systems, telephone equipment, medical systems, and industrial applications are all powered by SDH. This UPS is designed for blade servers with an input power factor close to unity (1). It can be used as a tower UPS or within a rack-mount cabinet, and it only takes up 2U of space. The SDH features a contemporary design, a variety of functional configurations, and reflects cutting-edge technology developed by the Riello UPS research and development team. UPS may achieve an online operating efficiency of 92 percent. SDH can be equipped with battery extension packs (ER versions) that have their own internal battery chargers for important business continuity applications that require long runtimes. The UPS also has the Riello UPS's 'power-off' feature, which is also featured in other ECO Line UPSs. When no loads are connected, Sentinel Dual is meant to save energy.
