The Sentinel Tower (STW) is the optimum solution for ensuring maximum power reliability for mission-essential systems such as safety devices, telecommunications equipment, and IT systems. The STW is designed and built with cutting-edge technology and parts to make sure that powered loads are as safe as possible while having as little effect as possible on systems further down the line and saving as much energy as possible. The series contains 5–6 kVA single/single-phase and 8–10 kVA single/three-phase input, single-phase output models using online double-conversion technology, in which the load is continually powered by the inverter, which produces a sinusoidal voltage that is filtered and frequency stabilised. Input and output filters give further protection against power outages and lightning strikes. The STW is one of the top UPSes available on the market today in terms of technology and performance, with a three-level inverter that achieves 95% efficiency and a unity output power factor of 1, which increases system and device efficiency while reducing power system losses. The STW has both an Economy Mode and a Smart Active Mode that can be turned on and off. It also has a new custom diagnostics LCD display, RS232 and USB interfaces with Powershield3 software, an ESD input, and an interface slot that can be used with other boards.
