The FIT battery series is designed for the most reliable and secure applications. These batteries are well suited for telecom backup applications in 19" and 23" cabinets and feature an easy-access front-terminal configuration. The structure of the FIT series is intended to reduce the footprint by virtue of its high energy density and to facilitate routine visual inspections. Internally, superior fiber-glass separators are utilised to regulate recombination currents and prevent thermal runaway. The outside is made of UL94 V0 flame retardant ABS plastic (LOI greater than 28%), which ensures a high level of safety and thermal stability to prevent case bulging. During storage, the design has been adjusted to reduce self-discharge.
