Spotlight: Sales Manager, Andy Bowles
Andy Bowles becomes the latest recruit to join the Secure Power team, taking on the role of sales manager. He brings with him a wealth of experience within the networking infrastructure industry, where for the past 25 years he has worked extensively in external sales roles, specialising in the retail of copper cabling systems, fibre optic connectivity, converged IP solutions and networking and electronic security.
During his career, Andy has developed a strong rapport with a multitude of independent consultants, installers and sub-distribution companies. His skill at building a strong client base is the key to his success and what ultimately drew him to working with Secure Power.
“Secure Power has a customer base that is relatively untapped at present” said Andy. “I am confident that I will be able to further develop relationships with our current clients and also expand on these to introduce new clients to the company. The anticipated increase in business will undoubtedly open up future opportunities for Secure Power, enabling further expansion of the sales team whilst also allowing me to grow my experience as a line manager.”
Having known and worked with Secure Power’s UPS products for many years, Andy appreciates the vast and varied range of backup power technologies the company has to offer. A highly motivated individual, Andy recognises the value of a team environment and brings this collaborative ethos with him to Secure Power.

Originally from Nottingham, Andy has a wife, 3 daughters (plus a step-son and daughter) and five grandchildren. In his spare time he loves to travel, favouring Canada and also the USA, for its all year round sunshine, great beaches, trips to Disneyland and Universal Studios. He is a huge fan of ice hockey and can regularly be spotted supporting his favourite local team, the Nottingham Panthers, or following NHL’s Edmonton Oilers. He has also been known to indulge in the occasional round of golf, however not as often as he would like!
